Jere Whitehouse has continually distinguished himself with awards and honors throughout his successful real estate career of over 35 years, all in the Montgomery, Alabama, area. Prior to his affiliation with Garth Realty Group, Jere worked with other major real estate companies and was consistently the top agent out of three offices and over 80 agents. In 1997, in addition to earning the Top Agent Award for the year, he also earned the prestigious "Ed Lowder Award" for Excellence in service to his clients and his leadership within the company.
"We are very excited about our move to Montgomery...you went way beyond the call of duty..."
Steve and Debbie Kolar
Jere was an Army brat, born in Colorado, Springs, Colorado, and a Navy veteran, serving aboard the USS Kearsarge, CVS-33, anti-submarine aircraft carrier, during the Viet Nam era. Because of his military background, Jere can relate to the life adjustments of military moves. In fact, many of his clients have been active duty military either relocating to the Montgomery area to Maxwell AFB or Gunter AFB annex, or leaving the area.
"Our choice of having you represent us in our real estate needs was one of the smartest moves we ever could have made."
Steve and Annette Milroy
Since joining RE/MAX Tri-Star, Jere has continued to be a leader in the company, and a well recognized figure in the community. Jere's consistently high volume is a measure of his hard work, dedication and his commitment to serving his valued clients.
"Jere got our house sold in 2 weeks! and then solved all the problems getting to the closing..."
Doug and Jennifer Mitchell
Jere's pre-real estate life involved getting degrees in English and Creative Writing, managing a pizza shop in a college town (he could probably still twirl a pizza on his finger!), owning an indoor houseplant shop (he made "house calls" then and he still does!), DJ'ing at several radio stations and managing a sales staff in radio advertising sales. His strong background in marketing carried over to his real estate career, as evidenced by his extensive marketing campaigns for his sellers.
"We have never seen a better job of marketing a home...his marketing marterials and ideas were the best we've ever seen."
Ken and Sharon Hirlinger
Jere's real passion is helping buyers and sellers in win-win transactions! And mentoring other agents. In addition, Jere is an Alabama Real Estate Commission Certified Instructor. So you will often find him teaching at Martin & Fellows Real Estate School, home of the "Doctor of Real Estate", Earl Martin. If you have ever thought about entering the world of real estate, check out the classes at
And when not involved in real estate, Jere would really like to be fishing or metal detecting. Although he doesn't go fishing nearly as often as he would like, there are two major lakes nearby, Lake Jordan and Lake Martin, and dozens of small ponds.
Whether you are buying or selling a home, let Jere put his enthusiasm to work for you today!
Valentines Day 2007
On this occasion I am reminded of the mission statement for my real estate business. "Caring Real Estate Service Beyond Expectations". Most everything pertaining to being successful in this profession, besides knowledge and experience, boils down to one thing:
My relationships built over the years with mortgage loan originators and processors, attorneys, other real estate professionals, home inspectors, pest control specialists, builders, maintenance engineers and the list goes on.... can make or break the purchase or sale of a home.
Of course, without the loyalty and support of the community: home buyers and sellers past and future - I would be out of business in a hurry.
I just want to take the time to thank you all.
Thank you for visiting my website at JereWhitehouse.com, my blogs, and a special thank you to all my past clients for trusting me with the most important investments of their lives - buying or selling a home.
I have been blessed and rewarded in so many ways because of all of you.
Please know, I appreciate you all
